Description

The Aqualon 11694 Check Valve Retainer is a direct replacement for OMAX 303252, used in Legacy OMAX / MAXIEM (HT/OM) pump systems. This retainer threads into the check-valve body and clamps the ball and seat in the correct position, keeping the valve geometry stable under high-pressure cycling.

When the retainer wears, galls, or distorts, the ball may not sit squarely on the seat, which can lead to backflow, pressure ripple, or slow pressure build-up. Replacing the retainer restores proper clamping force and reliable one-way flow through the check-valve chamber.

Key Features

• Direct replacement for OMAX 303252
• Secures the check-valve ball and seat inside the valve body
• Maintains correct alignment for stable one-way flow
• Precision-machined threads and seating surfaces
• High-strength construction suitable for continuous 60K HT/OM operation
• Helps reduce pressure instability and check-valve chatter

Applications / Compatibility

• Pump Family: Legacy OMAX / MAXIEM (HT/OM)
• Function: Threaded retainer for the check-valve assembly
• Used On:
– OMAX HT pumps
– OMAX OM pumps
– MAXIEM pumps that specify OMAX 303252
• Not compatible with EnduroMAX pumps

If unsure, use: “Fits systems that specify OMAX 303252.”

Installation Notes

• Always inspect the check-valve body, ball, and seat when replacing the retainer
• Clean threads and sealing surfaces before installation
• Apply a suitable anti-seize compound if recommended by the OEM
• Tighten to OEM torque specification to avoid distortion or thread damage
• After assembly, pressure-test the pump and check for stable pressure build-up and leak-free operation

Why Replace?

Check-valve retainers are exposed to continuous pressure cycling, vibration, and impact from the moving ball. Over time they can:

• Suffer thread wear or galling
• Distort under load, affecting ball and seat alignment
• Become difficult to remove during maintenance

Typical symptoms include pressure loss, unstable pressure-up, valve noise, or internal leakage. Replacing with Aqualon 11694 restores correct clamping of the check-valve components and supports consistent, reliable pump performance.
